ABOUT FRANK VALLADARES

My name is Frank Valladares. I am a member of the Florida Bar, the 11th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals Bar, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. The primary focus of my practice is in the area of Immigration Law. I am very active in removal and detention proceedings before the immigration courts in Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and Charlotte, as well as the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). I received my Juris Doctorate in 1984 from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. I also earned a Master of Public Administration Degree from Florida International University in Miami, Florida in1981 and my B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 1978. I attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana from 1974 to 1976 on a football scholarship.

As a native of Cuba, I receive great satisfaction in practicing Immigration Law. My family moved from Cuba to the United States in 1962 when I was a young boy, seeking freedom from a communist regime. While living in Miami, Florida for most of my life I met people of all different ethnicities and cultures. Although I have practiced in various areas of law through the years, I receive great satisfaction in helping others be part of our nation.

I am also very active in charitable endeavors involving young people. Since 1988, I have serve on the Board of Directors of Youth Coop, Inc., and Youth Coop Charter School, a non-profit 501(c) (3) community based organization which provides job training/placement, vocational and educational programs for the economically disadvantaged. I am also Co-Founder and V.P. of Project ChildHelp, Inc (Project Child), a non-profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization serving children internationally.
